Cycle Question..Shrimp

I am ready to get my cycle started.
I bought 3 raw uncooked shrimp at the grocery store. My question is do I leave the shell on them?

Also I was told by Jim @ purearagonite.com that I should place the shrimp in a nylon stocking which would make it easier to remove later.

Also should I place the 3 in different areas in the tank?

I will be going to TBS hopefully in 2 Saturdays to get my live rock. The LFS stuff is not very nice for the price they want 8.99/lb. Is it ok to add the LR in about 2 weeks.

I'm not an expert but I would wait till I got the LR. That is how I cycled my 125 reef. First thing is the LR cured? If not then the die off from the LR will cycle your tank if you get enough. How big is the tank and how much LR are you getting? i just set up a 55 FOWLR and I had no cycle too speek of because I got LR that was cured and in a holding bin for several months so it had bacteria on it already. JMO I would hold off
