Please identify - White and fuzzy

I woke up this morning and was surprised to find a few of these in my tank. I guess I hadn't noticed this before. Do you have any idea what this is?

Your mystery animals are small sponges with calcareous skeletons.

These are harmless critters and they are quite commonly found, particularly in relatively new aquaria.
