Its a hitch hiker when I bought my red algae attached the LR a while back.

For those of you who hve The Reef Aquarium V.2 handy, it looks like the one on p.37.

Looks like it to me. Almost anything that is a toadstool is a sarcophyton. The Yellow Elegans which does not form an actual toadstool is also a sarcophyton though.

I have read that this coral grow fast. How fast is fast?

I bought a sarcophyton last November from Old Town Aquarium in Chicago, was maybe 3 inches across, it is now a whopping 18 inches across and has a huge baby coming out at the base which is 4-5 inches. This is dominating my tank. Had to move it recently because it was shading some other corals. I do have a couple other sarcophyton species that have not grown nearly this fast.
