Macna 2004 Assitance Please

OK folks remember when everyone was gung ho to get this MACNA 2004 thing off the ground? It's time for volunteers.

I am looking for people to poke around the web, send a few emails and such to fill in a few gaps in our database. There are over 1,000 vendors, manufacturers, aquarium societies, LFS etc on this list and for many of them all I have is a web address. This is where you come in.

I plan to subdivide the list and email portions to each volunteer for them to complete. It is in MS Excel XP format but I can regress it to an older version if necessary .

Although all of this information is publicly available and the truly sensitive info has been removed I would kindly ask that the volunteers not distribute their portion to anyone.

The more volunteers we get the smaller each persons portion will be. Please either respond here or PM me to volunteer.

If it wasn't clear what needs to be done...Robbot has lots of web addressess, street addressess for potential MACNA attendees, exhibitors Etc. What he needs is direct contact info, email, name of a person to contact Etc. So on your list of targets you'll need to contact the target and get the info and complie it on your portion of the database and return to RobboT so he can re-join your data into the master database. While your at it feel free to search the world for additional contacts remotely associated with our mission and within your letter group A-F, G-k whatever one you end up with. The larger the database the better potential we have to reach our vast audience. Big job for sure, but vital to our success. Huge thanks to everyone for getting involved.

Nope you just said almost what I said in my form email to each volunteer except you are more optimistic on the size of each portion :D "A" alone took three splits and thats with heaping about 25 or so contacts on each person.

As we have recently found out from other ventures, some of this info is seriously outdated. I appreciate everyones help so far. Just need to get everyone elses email and I'll send out another batch tonight.
