how to clean reflectors

I just replaced my light bullbs and added a new reflector.
The differnce between the new and old reflector (same model spider light) is incredible.

I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that the older one has got saltcreep. What should I use to repolish the old reflectors?

Vinegar will clean off the salt. mix a solution of water and vinegar.
