I saw this on Ebay a while ago, but decided not to post because of all the b*tching the BRS was doing at the time, about other things. I got the feeling it was Old Ron.

You are exactly right. We need to continue to maintain out decorum. Debate is great and appreciated. Flaming especially when we're not even really sure of who we're flaming is not neccessary.

Even if it is who you think it is, He is respected/debated/respected/debated and very well may be our guest at MACNA and bring a following.

That's the beauty of what we're trying to accomplish as an Org and hosting MACNA. We can meet these people face to face , express our opinions, challange opinions and debate.

Flaming pushes people away and shows an imaturity and I know we're all better than that.

Oh how I hate showing my age and you know sometimes I too really just want to flame somebody...anybody

Just to play "devils advocate"
Maybe it's a good thing he's selling them ?

Imagine you did not have the combined knowlage of RC to draw from. You are just limmited to one LFS... say perhaps this LFS has not taught you about the advantages of a DSB .... Wouldn't you be happy to pay $85. to learn, seed and set one up ?

And in the long run wouldn't it be well worth it?

BTW just for the record I agree there are some moral and ethical issues here, but I couldn't resist a little Friday afternoon
"mental wanking"

Judging by the feedback of people who have bought this kit in the past, they seem to be pleased with it. Overpriced? I think so, but he clearly tells you what you're getting before you buy.

My post wasn't as much what the guy was charging as it was the fact that people will actually pay that for so little... Cluthcargo -- in essence, I agree with you.
I suppose the same could be said for many LFS... especially down my way. :eek1:
Oh well.... the poor, uninformed shopper.
