Blane Perun Pool Order?

Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone was interested in doing a pooled order from Blane Perun (http://www.thesea.org/captivesystems/store/).
I emailed him about his offer for Society discounts and here is what he said

Abbey:

I working out a program to constantly run that
will offer society members a few different options.

Right now it would be based on an order of 20
pieces. I was thinking one frag for every five ordered
and 50% off on shipping. or free shipping but
no free frags.

eventually Im going to have a section on my site
just for society members, like the selects but you
have to be a society member somewhere
to pick from them,

People eaters is difficult to get, right now Blane ran out of them. They're nice.

I doubt a local vendor will have the same items. Blane has been collecting the more rare zoos for a while I believe. Although a local place may have access to some, the variety may be lost. But I think it would be best to support a local place.

I agree with you both however in this case I've seen spectacular zooanthids on this guys site that I have seen nowhere else. I am 100% for using our local suppliers but from what I can tell this stuff sells as fast as he can grow it.

Yes it did. Today actually. It was a pain in the a$$ to finally get the order settled, it changed about 3 or 4 times. If we do this again, we will have to get His current inventor list and make the order in a matter of hours. Right now I htink he has bit off a little more then he can chew. But we will tell you how the order comes out once it get delivered.

Good luck with getting those. He said that those go faster then anything. People have offered him 150 bucks for those. I think that will be tough to get. We did get the mini purple people eaters in our order though. Only one order of them.

I let mine acclimate for awhile, one has opened up. They are cool but I want to wait for them all to. I will get pics tomorrow. I am waiting to see what they all will look like. Some came with only 1 or 2 polyps and that was a little disappointing because they were small polyps, but they all seem like they will open up when the MH's turn on tomorrow. I will let you know when they do. The free frags came also, not sure what they are yet but I am anxious to see. I will post pics as soon as I have them

Well mine are home, acclimated, situated and just starting to open. I will take pics when they are "in full bloom". Im not on my laptop so I cant even check what I ordered :lol:

Thanks Abbey and Dave for doing all the leg work on this, and thanks especially for sharing the freebies even though I was only a small part of the order. :D

No pics yet- still sort of closed up.
Everything came in well - FedEx even delivered hours earlier than supposed to. All zoos doubled bagged. He put 2-3 zoos in each bag. The problems with that is that some got knocked off the cement disk and the other issue was he bagged one of Dave’s and one of Rob’s together. Not too big of a deal. But I’m otherwise happy with the order. It was bumpy in the beginning with ordering and availability but things smoothed out when we finalized the order.

do you have a name for the brown zoos that are in the upper left hand corner of the first pic of your tank? they are also in the third pictue in the lower left.
I had a single polyp show up as a hitchhiker on the live rock that I got from "little shop of pets" in Portsmouth.
Great tank. Makes me want to do mine with the zoos.

dad300 I believe those are brown button polyps sometimes they are brown on brown sometimes brown on green actually I think sunpolyps genus palythoa? is the more common name
