Attached is a JPEG of an idea for a wall mounted hinged frame. I also included a conceptual idea of what the system will look like. (don't laugh at my horrible hand drawings)
The big question is will I have a problem with bowing or sagging of the fixture the way I am cantelevering it off the wall?
The frame would be made from aluminum angle stock and aluminim square tubing stock, bolted together with stainless steel screws. The part mounted to the wall would be made from oak that would be sealed and painted white.
I haven't decided on the cover (or cowling) yet, was thinking white acrylic if the heat wasn't a problem. Or maybe having it made from aluminum and painted white? Any ideas on something light weight?
