Need some ID

Hi! New to the forums, new to reef-keeping (somewhat) and I just brought home my first pieces of live rock (very excited)!

Just curious if anyone knows what these hitch hikers are all over my rock in the picture unknown.jpg. I was guessing button polyps, but after looking closer wasn't too sure....Then I was thinking Aiptaisa, but compared it to an Aiptasia I found on another piece of my rock and concluded it couldn't be that!!

BTW, going to get a peppermint shrimp or two today to take care of the Aiptasia before they take over!

Any ideas? Thx!

Those look like standare fare button polyps.

Tentacles look a little long for button polyps. Hidden cup coral maybe?

Hmmm....either way...are they both relatively docile towards other corals?

Should I place a larger coral on that rock to prevent them from spreading over the entire surface?
