A friend of mine has given up the fish hobby and given me her entire setup. It is an Eclipse-12 on an Eclipse black stand w/ 32 w PC's 50/50 under the hood. I am planning on removing the hood for a smaller custom wood hood, removing the filtration.
Here is what I am debating;
I have a 5.5 gallon glass tank I want to use as a fugre for this new tank. Should this fuge be drilled to drain back into the eclipse, or should I try to drill the Eclipse. It seems like pretty heavy duty thin plastic, not sure how easy it cracks.
Anyone running a fuge on their Nano tanks? Specifically an eclipse?
Next all I need to do is figure out what will live in it. I definetly want it to be a specialty tank of sorts. I have always wanted to get a dwarf octopus, but I am pretty sure this tank is too small and too difficult to seal up for the escapee.
Thanks in advance,
Steve
