First off don't do it unless you absolutly have to! It's not the most fun thing to do in the world. :D

First I tried razor blades and other random things to try to loosen the silicone. While it worked it was really small and dangerous. What worked for me was a Red Devil metal putty knife from the 99 cent store. Stick that thing up under the trim where the glue is and run it back and forth a bit. Loosens it up really good and the trim can be gently eased off.

You do know that the trim helps aleviante pressure on the glass so it doesn´t bow/explode?

Oh yeah I mean if you have to remove it to replace the glass or fix something. Obviously you have to put it back on!
