Custom hood enclosure - Fiberglass?

Anyone ever made their hood outta fiberglass? Any reason not too? Me and my friend have done a sub or two out of fiberglass before.. should be fairly easy to do I think.

i seee no issuse with using finerglass if you use a metal reflector..it would be lighter than stronger than wood but i dont see the need but if you feel fiber glass is better go right ahead youll be fine....besides you can make it how everyou lke with fiberglass
