whant to drill tank Oceanic 90 gal bow,useing 30 gal sump in basement 7' head ,useing a little giant 4-MDQ-SC is 1 inch pvc for suction and 3/4 inch pcv for supply is enough or do i need 2 -1inch suction line and where should the hole be drill in back of tank. the supply on pump is 1/2 inch but i whould drill it for 3/4 and reduce it to 1/2.

The rule of thumb is each 1" hole will drain approximately 700 gph.

You can return the water in a smaller diameter, but it will increase the velocity...kinda like having a hot-tub jet in your tank without the bubbles
