Hi again
After researching I have decided to build my sump and was hoping for some reassurance before I proceed.

Sump dimensions will be 16"long 15" wide 18" tall

There will be 3 baffles hopefully reducing on bubbles

I decided to buy my acrylic cut to size and the guy that can do it also can sell me Weldon 3.

I've decided to use 1/4 inch acrylic rather than 3/8". I'm a little wary of that decision, but the price difference is 35% lower.

I am also building into the top of the sump a wet/dry area that I can use for a wet/dry or place carbon or a sponge. The enitre top will be braced as suggested on garf.

Any thoughts or comments are much appreciated.

I have a 100 gal sump/ refuge (60" x 16" x 20") made out of 1/4" lexan and it works just fine. The smaller tank with baffels in it shouldn't have a problem.

thanx for the comments!

I built it tonight and I dont forsee any problems now that I've done it. Weldon 3 works great. I dont think I could get it apart without breaking pieces.
