I am making my refuge for my 75g RR tank. I have worked with acrylic before wondering the thickness for a aprox 30 gallon set up?
Thanks Todd

I built one 32x32x11, 35 gallons or so..I used 3/8's and it's nice and sturdy. If I would have used 1/4", I think it would be a little shaky. It's not about gallons, it's about dimensions..If you're doing something really long or tall, you're going to need thicker. Mine is pretty short so 3/8's is overengineered. GARF has a tank builder calculator on their page that you can plug in your dimensions and it will estimate the thickness you need.

nevermind stoped in a LFS while working today and they had a 30G long for 39.95 figured I could save myself some of the work at that price. But thanks.
