What do you use to attach acrylic to glass

I am building a sump out of a glass 75g. Will aquarium silicone work for the acrylic baffles. Please help before I make a mess :D

All the glass to plexiglass, and plexiglass to glass around here is still holding with aquarium silicone after all these years... Tubing to plastic, tubing to glass, wooden knobs to plastic or glass tops when you need something really DRY to grab on to.... Yup! Still stuck! Good fun. (And if you really need to, you can remove (metal or hard plastic aquarium glass scraper works great) and reattach stuff (dry of course) as needs change, or your mind changes about what you made. Always keep at least 2 tubes of silcone hanging around for midnight madness.)
