Removing Tank Trim

I have one side of a 20L completely knocked out but now I need to remove the top trim to get the new glass in. Any tips, hints, experiences on doing this?

Hi Foogoo,
I have attempted this sort of thing in the past.
It turned out much more difficult than expected.

You can try it for kicks if you want.
But since a new tank that size is not big $$.. you may want to just get a new tank.

Hmmm.. what did you say it was?.... a 20l?
Upgrade :)
A new 29 would take the same size top and stand and costs 40.00 or less....
Just a thought.
