Hi
I have an older model Koralin Calcium reactor that does not seem to keep up with the load in my 180.
I was wondering if I could use a EHEIM canister filter for the second chamber and use it's own pump to recirculate the water with in it. I was planning on making a loop on the EHEIM with two tee's one on the top and one on the bottom of the loop. Run the line from my reactor and connect it to the bottom tee of the loop and run a line from the top tee to my sump with a valve at the end of it to control my effluent rate. I believe it would work pretty good. But all input would be appreciateted.
Thanks, Vic

I tried it out and it worked great. I even could slow down my bubble count and my efluent rate. It's working much better than I expected too. 11 dkh and cal at 450.
