I've built a light canopy for a 15g. 1 65w PC ballast powering a 36w bulb, and a dual NO ballast powering 2 15w NO bulbs. The NO came as a kit, with the ballast pre-wired to the sockets/end caps.
Anyway, I have them all wired up to the same switch, with one power cord plugged into the wall. When I hit the switch, the PC comes on right away, but it takes almost 10 mins before the NO bulbs come on. Is my switch of too low amps, or my power cord not heavy enough guage? Which should I replace?
Or is it which NO endcaps I have connected to each bulb? Should I switch the reds and blues?
