I went to my LFS and they had some dwarf angels, Koran angels, and some juvenile imperator angels all in a reef tank. The dwarfs were ALL nipping at the LR and coral polyps, while the koran and imperators were not. Has anyone had experience with koran or imperator angels in a reef environment? I am thinking of getting either one instead of a dwarf.

Here's a bump for the night shift. IME most angels will eat coral. Be careful.

Anyone else chime in?

Angels are always hit and miss in a reef. For some more info check out this thread:

I would not risk it. They are large fish that could munch your coral to death in no time

Here is a few good reads about them..
