Tank construction! I know the basics sump and skimmer under my belt and feel very condfindent with the seams I have made.

Questions?

1. Sequence for glueing? I think I know but lets hear it anyways?

2. Jigs for holding square is this nessessary? For building only one tank?

3. Edges on the front, back, and sides form a straight square line so that the bottom mates with very close tolerances?

4.Best router bits for the job? Do you need to scrape after you machine the edges?

5.What eges to leave oversized to be flush routed?

I want to thank zephrant and cheapreef for all of there diy posts so that I was able to build everything to date. I am hooked now and cant seam to get the diy out of my system. I want to make a custom tank that is not available through the run of the mill tank manu.. unless you specify and then you better get your wallet out! I think it would be fun to build one by myself and the rewards would be just that a quality tank with your exact options!
If zephrant would want to elaborate that would be grate. If anyone elese that would be great to.

Hey Max- Sounds like you are on a roll.

I've answered all those questions before- Can you be more specific about where you need more info?

I assume you've seen these:
