I made this from a glass gallon jar 3.38$ and 5.00$ worth of parts from lowes or hd.the glass jar was at wallmart, its for tea and has a despensor toward the bottom.I took the spout out of the jar and cut of the valve part leaving 1/2 inch or so to mount the clear tube.Silicone the 1/2 nipple you just made by cutting off the valve and slide the 1 inch 1/2 i/d tube over it and clamp.Clamp # is 29377 at lowes they are 5/8 o/d clamps.now take the 1/2 90 degree 1/4 inch barb and cut it.# 27635 at lowes(its a 90 degree 1/2 threaded end with a 1/4 inch barb on the other). cut the barb just above the first barb indent , clean the hole .(when cut you will have no barb but still a 90 degree).screw in with silicone the valve you bought a the sprinkler section.#16525 at lowes,hd sells just the valves a better deal, they are 1/4 inch sprinkler adjustment valves. Now install the valve with the 90 degree into the 1/2 clear tube with silicone and clamp .With some silicone install what you just made back into your jar.Cut a piece of 1/4 inch riggid tube to length(your call) and with silicone screw it into the other end of the valve, let dry.It is VERY important that you seal everything,or you wont be able to controll the drip rate(air leak),dont seal the top of the jar though. It looks like alot but it took 10 minutes and 10 dollars to make.I use one for kalk and one for toppoff...:D
