It has been a long time since I made a beam problem :( I don't remember nothing at all...so is there someone out there that can help me solving a simple beam problem...
I need to choose a rectangular section for the main beam supporting a AGA 120G tank...I came to the loads in the diagram, so the problem is getting which section and steel gauge will be proper for that loads...
I also need to know what section do I need to support a axial load of 600 lbs..without bending, this will be 4 columns supporting the frame top of the stand...my idea is to get the critical section and build the tank stand with that section...
