Diy Small HOB Refugium??

I was looking around and have seen these Refugiums that hang on the back of the aquarium. They look pretty simple in design. Couldn't I just MAKE one?

They looked like two tubes and a hang on box with two dividers.

How do they work??

you sure can, I made a couple, It is basicly a box on the
back with a small pump/power head to feed it and mabey a baffle
on the input side to keep the bubble and turbulace down.
And a gravity return back to the tank. These are a great
starter acrylic progect. Have fun

I will definitely try one out eventually when I learn more about them and how they work.
