acrylic to glass

hey guys, i'm planning to build a sump. i was wondering if i can glue acrylic to glass. i have a 29g aga tank sitting around and would like to convert it into a sump. thanks!!!!!!!

It will work but it wont be as strong as glass to glass.

Silicone. But be sure to run a good bead on both sides of the acrylic. I just did the same and had to pull out my baffles because I placed then wromg. I had a harder time than I thought I would getting them out. My acrylic was cut to size so they fit into my tank snug, I put a bead on both sides of the acrylic and let it set for two days then realized that my baffles were in the wrong place. I just re did them and will let it sit for atleast 48 hours befor I do anything to it.
