50 gallon water top off unit

does anyone have pictures or examples of what they used, how they use it, and how to set it up with a tank of this size or approximate?

i have some ideas going for me, but....I NEED MORE!

For my 50 gallon tank I used a float vavle from Marine Depot (http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=KM1675) and a 5gal. bucket from home depot, a plastic stand that I got from staples. I will post some pictures tonight if you would like. :rolleyes:

The top item on my husband's honey-do list is to set up a 55 gallon poly drum in the garage that will auto-top off my 75 gallon reef tank with kalk. We're just using icemaker tubing and a little micro valve, along with a float valve in the sump. Super easy. I'd do it myself but am too chicken to drill through the garage wall into the dining room myself. :)

I'll post pics when it's done.

I use this top off in junction with a 2.5gal container( can be anysize) for our 46gal... been going 6 months and no problems yet. keeps perfect level....knock on wood:rolleyes:
