How difficult is it to set up a sump with out drilling your tank?

Existing tank? Can't just buy a reef ready? Not that hard, you just need an overflow box. Lots and lots of people use them. But they are generally crap, put you at risk for floods, and need constant attention.

Do a title search for "overflow box" and you'll get plenty of reading.

Yea, existing tank. I have a 90g with live rock that just started cycling today and the more I read the more I want a sump instead of hang on filters, skimmer and yada yada.

An excellent overflow box (hang-on) is made by Lifereef.

However, there are lots of very nice ones out there and do work well - not as well as a pre-drilled tank, but will be perfect for what you need it to do.
