Hello,

I have to tear down my 75 reef due to time and money constraints. I need good caring homes for my corals and livestock. This is for Boston Reefers local ONLY. You may come to my home and pick up the livestock or I can meet also.

Here is a list with images to follow:

Pair of Ocellaris Clowns (Male and Female) and Orange Spotted Shrimp Goby (All Three Must Go Together, too sad to part) $20

Torch Coral Colony (Several Branches, Tan Tips) 6" $20

Orange Monti Cap Colony 6" $20

Brown Pocillipora Tree Colony 5" $20

Purple Gorgonian (Photosynthetic) 10" High $10

Aqua Maxima Clam 2" $40

Yellow Polyp Rock Cluster 5" $10

Smaller Green Torch (Euphyllia) 3" $10

As you can see, I am not looking to get rich here. I just need good home with caring reefers to take them away. I pains me greatly to see them go, but priorities need be kept. These are very big colonies, some over 2 years old. Just trying to get little back in my pocket.

Please Email me or post here what you would like. Marcosreef@attbi.com

Thanks for everyone's help over the years,
Marco

Marc,
That is sooo sad :( It must have been a really tough decision for the two of you. If it is still available, I would love to provide a loving home for the purple gorgonian.

OMG! I just looked at the maxima pic. (not sure how I missed it the first time). If he/it is still available, can you put my name next to it?

Here is what I came up with:

Nickoz: Orange monti, Brown Pocillipora, Maxima Clam (4:30)

Stang8s: Small Torch (4:30)

Matt-Davis: Torch Colony, Large (This is one piece) 4:36

Denvig: Yellow Polyps (4:36)

Iancashman: Purple Gorgonian (4:38)

Thanks for everyone's support. Yes it is very hard decision, but it had to be made. I will still come here to chat and share my experiences and learn too.

Thanks, Marco

I've gotten a couple of e-mails and wanted to point out that:
Marco67 (reefers formally know as Marc-n-Jeanne) are still in ...in deep

Sad to learn Marcosreef is coming down. I also e-mailed on the adoption/purchase opportunity but I guess was to late.

Good Luck Marco

Marco,

Thank you so much again for the torch colony. All tentacles were out and extended when the lights came on this morning. Being so large and only having a 55 gallon tank, I need to do a better job mounting it. It is kind of laying on its side on a rock shelf for now, so I'll wait a while and see if I can get it propped up. It looks nice the way it is -- I just don't know how good it is for the colonies towards the bottom. Just out of curiosity, what type of bulbs did you have in your spacelight? I, too, use MH Aquaspacelights, and I'm curious to see if we use the same lights. Also, did you ever target feed the polyp heads? I target feed my plate coral,

Man you guys decended on Marco's stuff like a pack of Dingo's on a baby :D I think he called me at 4pm yesterday but since we don't have any room for stuff yet I mentioned he should post here....

less than 24 hours later and he's picked clean

We have a large Red Sea Sailfin that I need to find a good, large home for, if you are interested and have a tank at least 250 gal or larger, call me, or PM me.

7-10 days we hope. I'm thinking Wednesday the 25th as I look at the Calendar, but maybe sooner, maybe later we are finishing up now, building store fixtures putting up final coats of paint etc once that is finished and we pass our final inspections we will be ready to open.

Hi Matt,

I'm glad to hear that the torch is doing well. It was under 10.000K 250w DE's. I never target fed them, but occasionally some frozen food did make it their way.

Thanks so much,

Marco
