The link shows the arrangement. I used Tonga plate to create the roof of the caves and continued piling Fiji rock on top of it.

Thanks, I just have the LR stacked on top of each other, I have 3 large pieces, and the rest is small stuff. It took me a long time to get it where I liked it!! Its secure though.

Don't know if it's a nice look or not, bu it's a wall and a bunch of elevation for coral placement, As you can tell the middle white rock is new base rock:D

Don't know how well you can see the rock work, but there are lots of caves and it is very open.

JB NY, how do you keep everything in place? Is it very secure?

Just curious.

Here's a link to my rockwork:

It's hard to tell from the pic but the rock work is in a U shape, with the middle open. The tank is 3 feet deep so the rock goes from front to back along the sides.

I used Tonga branch when I set up my tank. Some of the big pieces (like two feet long) help you make very stable but interesting designs. I think I have one section near the front that I had to use some epoxy to keep it stable.

Very nice pics. I think I'm going to start changing mine around since I don't have anything else better to do this 4th.

Besides, I need to catch a clown and 2 damsels.

Your tank is looking better every time I see it. Looks alot more colorful now.

your tank is more then special imo. I'm an equipment junkie and your tank rocks......because of your overkill style... same as mine.

As you can see....mine needs some rock re-arrangement!! But it too dang hot right now. And when the sun is setting on my tank it's nice to just sit, relax & watch the colors. Maybe one day soon I'll rip it apart & redo it. Everything seems to be growing out right now & I hate to mess around when things are doing well.

This is my old setup, just a pile of rocks. That was about 6 months ago, I've since rearranged into two clam lagoons on both sides. I'll snap new pics tomorrow.
