Do you attach corals with any type of glue/epoxy, or do you place them where they fit?

I usually stick them into the rockwork and let them attach naturally. But,now I am running out of places to put them and will be going the glue way soon!

You will find situations where you do both, depending on the coral size/weight, base diameter, etc.

I use gel super glue to attach sps frags.

If I have to attach anything that is top heavy, has any kind of wight, is on a slant on a rock,etc... , I use the gel superglue. If I have to wedge it into a hole, then I'll use the epoxy. The problem with the epoxy is that it takes awhile to harden and lots of things just end up falling over from their own weight before the epoxy has time to set.

What is the gel glue? Agreed with that putty epoxy--it's horrible.

Gel superglue is just as its named. Its superglue in gel form. Regular superglue is like water. Gel is a lot thicker and will not run like water. You can get anywhere . Walmart or any pharmacy will have it as well as Home Depot or Lowes. You can even use it under water. For example you could put the gel on a frag and place the frag on a rock inside the tank and hold it for a few second and it'll hold.
