LFS prices (single shroom)

I stopped in at the LFS today.
They usually dont carry any corals but they happened to have some purple mushrooms.
They were single unattached shrooms a little smaller than a quarter.
Can you guess what they were asking for one?

I got offered a quarter sized mushroom as well..along with a chili coral,both on nice rock, for $25. I guess either it was under 2$, or over 20$?

My LFS would ask about $40 for a tiny piece of rock with one or two shrooms attatched

I see 5 shrooms on a "mushroom rock" around here (SE MI) all the time for 89.99 so I'm going to guess....

There was no price on it so I was thinking bout $5-7
So I asked
$20 was the price for a single unattached shroom.
I thought that was high so I passed

Along the same lines
At the same store about three years ago I was there the same time that thier supplier was there. We started chatting it up and he asked me if there was anything that I was interested in.
Well there was a nice size rock with about 5 green shrooms on it that I was pondering over. The asking price was $55. I told the supplier that I thought it was high and he asked what I would give. I said thirty and he said deal. The owner was standing behind him and you all should of seen his jaw drop. One of those sights that dont leave ya.

yeh, this is wierd, corals can usally be bargined for as well as fish at most stores. A powder blue was at my lfs for 80 bucks, but i have heard people on this forum getting them for like 40. The price of fish is an especially argumentative issue.

I have seen the purple tonga mushrooms offered for$40 on line, but never just a regular purple shroom!

One of my lfs had pretty much everything priced at $40. I thought that was a little high.

SHEESH! It's really a roll of the dice what they charge people for the SAME thing these days!

I wonder if they have a big wheel or a dart board in the back of the store where they figure out what they are gonna charge people.

You should never pay anything above 5 bucks for a single purple shroom. If you are paying any more than that, you are being ripped off.

I got my green shrooms for 44 and there are 9 of them on a piece of rock. Im looking for some blue and purple one's now.
