I have this macro growing in my rocks. Can you help me identifying it?

Can you get a pic where te focus is more sharp? It's kinda hard to make out the details and there's a couple that ar similar. I don't want to throw out a name without being sure.

Well my wild guess would be Razor. Look up that and see.

I still think it's Razor, mine kind of looks like that when it first starts growing.

I agree with DC. As I thought in my first post, it's the razor type, but didn't want to say it till I was sure.
Is this in your main tank? If so, I'd get it out now while it hasn't taken over the whole tank!! Razor is about the fastest growing and most dense of the Caulerpas. It will eventually cover every single millimeter of your tank. While this is a Martha Stewart thing if it's in a sump/refuge for nutrient export, it is a complete nightmare in your main tank.

I am really confused now. I did a web search for "Razor Caulerpa" and I found this (http://www.geocities.com/clevelandsaltwater/plants.html) site.

According to the pictures, the razor caulerpa is quite different from the tank macro. It looks more like what they call "Grass Caulerpa"

Also, what I have in my refugium and I thought was "Grape Caulerpa" they list as "Caulerpa sp.", their grape picture shows something different.

Is that web site completely wrong?

Caulerpa prolifera

Well I'm sure it's not Prolifera. The grape thing is kind of weird, I always just thought there were a couple kinds. Other sites also name the suction cup as grape also. Here's my Prolifera, I'll see if I can get a good picture of my razor.

Dc and Petfreak,
If you look carefully at the descriptions, it says that the Caulerpa sp. ( the grape one), and the actual listed as grape type are basically the same, except with different growth habits. In otherwords, they're both grape, but different types, at least that's what I get from it.

Petfreak,
Bottomline is that you can see what you have in your tank the best. If the edges of the leaves are serrated looking, then it's a razor type ( use the pic dc posted, it's a good closeup and is the same as what I have). If it's different looking then it will be one of the grass looking types, as there are a few of those that all resemble each other, except they have small differences.
I also still stand firm on the removing it if it is indeed the razor type. It will take over everything.
