Clean-up Crew for 40 Gallon..How's it sound?

1 Emerald Crab
5 Turbo Snails
4 Margarita Snails
6 Nassarious Snails
3 Dwarf Zebra Hermits

Sound good for a 40? Suggestions?

aren't zebras the ones with the big ole' left claws? i could be wrong. but if they are, i read that they're the most aggressive hermits.

you might not need 5 turbos unless you have a really bad algae problem. turbos tend to die if there isnt' much left to eat.

i'm a pro-snail reefer so i dont' like anything with claws. =)

I have about 25 snails now, so I'd recommend getting more snails. As for the hermits, I have the blue leg hermits which are okay. If I were to order more, I'd go for the red leg hermits though.

Okay, i'll bump the margarita's...and thrown in a couple Sebastions...They good for hair algae? LOL

I think your Clean up crew is fine right now don't want too add too much at once but personaly after awhile if you see they are have trouble keeping up with cleaning then i would add more, Personaly i would add some ceriths snails they are great at keeping my sand clean and rocks but they are one of the fews snails that clean the sand. Only get 3 or so turbos i only have one in the 20g, diffinately up the amount of nassarouis snails
