whats is better HQI or PFO ,double ended or not

Im new to the reef lighting. For MH lights What is the difference in HQI and PFO and double ended or mogule ( I think thats what its called). What is better for a reef or the better one. Or any other ones you know

Aso is there a difference in 4 foot vho's or are all of them the same. I mean ballast wise.

I want to buy a light with 2 250 watt MH's and 2 VHO's.
Dont know what is the best kind to get.
