Q about Hyoposalinity goal

I seem to have a small problem keeping my salinity where I want it and wanted to know what the ideal is, and what the allowed fluctuation is.

Shameless bump heer but not without new info.:)

I lowered to .009 (thereabouts) and noticed IMMEDIATLEY that my Spaghetti worms disappeared. I've had this Q tank set up long enough that it does have "some" inverts and worms. It's been running in my bedroom with only LR.

If the Spaghetti worms are dead, that's a good indication that the Hypo is low enough?

I'll have to watch for Ammo from die-off I suppose although I wouldn't think there'd be too much in there. Sacrificing this small amount of LR and critters is fine as long as I don't CYCLE for petes sake!
