what does everyone think would be a good price for a drilled 120g glass tank with a few scratch on the back glass (nothing bad though)...
48"-24"-24"
and ideas?

I have always heard that between $1 and $1.25 per gallon for a used tank is fair.

Well I sold off one tank( the 55) and right now have a 20L set up with frags and the fish I wanted to keep. I found a good deal on a 120 so I might end up buying it, flipping it upside down, covering it with a sheet and calling it a coffee table for a while...when good deals come up they are hard not to pass on...But I'll be in over my head again in about two months if I get the 120 set up by then...Take care of that clam, he was my fav. little buddy in the tank.

I bought a 125 non reef ready with a stand, hood with NO lights and sump in good condition for $200.
Just a few hours ago I bought a 70 gallon reef ready with glass tops and NO light strip in great shape for $100.
So I would say between $125-$150 would be a reasonable price if its in good condition

Lemme' guess.
Was it Ken Stockmans tank?

If you find any used 75's for sale let me know. I could sure use one as a sump.
Doesn't need to be pretty just water tight.

Up here at pet paradise Brad has a use 100+ its a custome made tank that was in a docs office. In needs to be resealed in the front but he only wants like 35 bucks for it. Its drilled with overflow. Dont know if this is what you want but I was going to get it and try to fix it myself.

I just bought a brand new 120 glass 48"x24"x24" for $236, most other places around here charge $340. Drilled it myself. I wouldn't pay more than $150 for a used tank. I usually go with the 50% of new when it comes to used.

Man, wish I lived were all the action is.
You'd think there would be more hobbyists and shops here on the coast.
