i heard head can get 6 inches across. mine is growing and growing .....

mine is at least 10 inches with its legs stretched. only had it for about a month and it has shed twice.

I don't know how big they can get, but at that size, they will eat small fish. I had one about 6 inches across eat my green chromis.

They are very common on Caribbean reefs and I have seen hundreds. Ten inches seems big but I have seen a lot of them about eight inches or so.

Oh ... my .. God. I had better get the one I have out of my sons 5.5 gallon then, I don't care how cool my son thinks he looks.

imho i dont think these guys are reef safe at all. whenever i go to the lfs's there is always an arrow crab who just caught a fish

If you get a small female she will not bother anything. The females are smaller and skinnier with much weaker and smaller claws. I have kept them for many years with no problems.
