Anyone know what size I gotta get to handle 230gph (maxi-jet 900)?

1/2 inch bulkhead willhandle that I think

but why are you concerned about what size builkhead to handle 230gph will this be a sump return, if so, you're going to get like 100 gph after it goes thru all that head, and it will die after a few months from all that pressure..

would be a good idea to post what you're doing with the bulkhead/maxijet 900

Its a sump return on an extremely small nano. I wanted this much gph because its gonna be a small sps nano and I need lots of flow. I already built the overflow and drilled the hole and installed a bulkhead but it couldn't handle the flow and ended up flooding :rolleyes: . I just need to find a bigger bulkhead to handle the gph and then install it.

A 1" bulkhead drilled on a side will handle about 300 gph, up to 400 gph if you vent out the air. You might as well go with the 1". They are fairly standard, easy to find, and going to run quieter.
