Cleaning my refugium

I was wondering if you all clean(vaccum) your refugiums?I clean the glass,pull out algae.I get alot of fine silt in the settlement section,I havent cleaned it out cause it is full of worms and pods.Thanks

Actually the only time I cleaned mine out was when I moved my tank. I suggest you leave the sediment and pods be. Great place for them to grow an multiply..
