Sick Fish

I have a lemon peel angelfish that has white cottony blotches on its fins and side. I fisrt noticed it a week ago and it has gotten worse. He is eating just fine and it doesn't seem to bother him. Should i treat him or will he fight it off on his own?

Cotton looking patches are typically fungus infections. These are best treated in a QT with malachite green.
