Keep in mind they are ALL frags from my fellow Marylanders.
BTW, don't make fun of the heater. I need to get another one.

Looks like a Colt Coral. BTW, what's wrong with the thermometer?

I just think it looks awkward. Do you?

Which one looks like a colt coral?
About the heater, I just think it looks too big. Do you think it looks ok?

Unknown3 looks like a Colt Coral (the larger of the two unknown frags)
I thought perhaps you had meant the quality of the thermometer was suspect, not the size. Looks fine to me.

Looks more like a "female device" than a heater..... :eek1:

I got a light fixture from a local lighting store that held 2 13w bulbs. It also had 2 ballasts. It cost $25.
I built the hood myself (if I can do it, you can). And bought 2 50/50 bulbs from petsupplyliquidator.com.
Everything looks good so far.

can you take a pic of the hood and lights?
Those little 'female device' heaters are really crappy and unreliable. You can get them at WalMart for about $5, but they are no good. There's no temp control, and who knows what temp they have it set for.

Sure but I'll have to wait. I borrowed my brother's digital camera and don't have it now.
The hood only took a few hours to build and cost around $10-$15.

JimPruitt,
<Keep in mind they are ALL frags from my fellow Marylanders.>
Tank looks great, where abouts in Maryland? I am in Annapolis. I need to get into some kind of reef club or something for swaps and frags. Any that you know of?

I have that little heater. It works great for my 2.5 gallon freshwater. Keeps the tank around 78 degrees. I haven't had any problems.
Peace:smokin:
