I am trying to make best use of everything coming out of my RO/DI unit.....trying to improve efficiency and find a way to reuse the water.
My unit is mobile (on a cart in the basement)....I would like to use the waste water for watering the backyard....I would like to know how you folks do it...beside carrying jugs of waste water to the lawn.
Thanks.

My unit is bolted to the wall in my back yard so I bought about 25' of tubing to replace to waste tube and I can move it all over the yard including the potted plants.

I have for years used the waste water from the R.O. system to maintain the bird bath .
Easy for us and the birds love it .

2-40gal+ rubbermaid garbage cans out side with a sump pump hooked into a sprinker.

RO to the drinking water - inside
DI to top off the reef - inside
Waste to the rubbermaids - outside 3 seasons

Cheapo sump pump on a low pressure sprinkler works very well in VA for 3 seasons.

Winter time I pump the waste water into my pond.
