Urchin up for adoption

I have a longspine urchin, about 7 to 8" spines, who needs a bigger home. I have had him for about 1.5 years, so I would like to make sure he goes to a good, healthy home. If anyone is interested, Private Message me.

Nevermind, my urchin will soon have a new home. The Milwaukee County Zoo is adopting him.

Cool. How did you go about getting them to take it? I was just there this weekend and it looked they only take a select few that are offered to them. Looks like you have a nice animal. eric

Its not 100% official YET, I have to call to make arrangements to drop it off, so you could say they ARE going to take it. I believe they look for one that is large, healthy, and has lived in captivity for quite some time, as mine has. I take it lots of people offer then urchins??

I don't know. But in general they are very selective with the animals they take. For every aquatic animal they take they probably turn hundreds away. eric
