Fisrt question, what is the average lifespan of an RO membrane?
Second question. Does anyone know of GPH charts for various pumps and heights? Via-aqua in particular has no listing of GPH at varying heights.
1. Don't really know. I'm just replacing mine now, but I bought the unit used and don't really know how much it was used or for how long.

RO membranes have the potential of lasting upwards of 2 years. However, if you don't maintain them properly or if you have less than ideal water, then the life of the membrane can be shortened to 2 months. If I had to give an average time span, I'd say about 1 year before replacement.

This is a great link for specs on pumps. (http://reefs.org/library/pumps/) I keep it bookmarked.

I've used that site before, but some of the information is dated, has the wrong size input/output, and is still missing some pump curves. However, it's handy to have around if you're trying to find sheer gph from a pump :)
