Ocean Water Vs Mix you own salt?

You live on the Gold Coast. There is no question - collect your own. Far better for your organisms and your pocket.

There wouldnt be anything better than a fish or corals native waters. But only if the water is far out and not to close to the shore, you never know what contaminants are in that part of the water. Since I cant get that water, I try to mimic it to the best of my ability, and it will never be as good as NSW.

I wish I lived where I could collect it but until then, I guess I'll have to mix. NSW IMO is the way to go
