Shelf Life

What is the shelf life of dry goods? I was going to fight a parasite last night with some copper in a hospital tank and found some old copper (Seacure) and a test kit(dry-tab) but wasn't sure if they would be any good as they are a few years old. I didn't see an expiration date so I wasn't sure.

How long are test kits good for?

How long is copper good for?

How long are additives good for?

I'm not really sure on the shelf life of many of the kits/additives out there. Good question though. You should post this in The Reef Chemistry Forum (http://www.megapathdsl.net/~fmariani/moonlight.html).
