I just recently converted my DAS 75 with 2, 40watt bulbs over to a diy metal halide pendant. I just finished hanging the pendant last night. It has 2, 175 Blueline Super White 10k's and 2, 40 watt actinics. I just ran the mh last night for an hour and I'll run them tonight for an hour and increase the photo periode gradually. The bulbs so far seem to give off a slightly yellow appearance. I guess I'm more used to the bulbs at my LFS running slightly bluer, but these are "super whites"...Just wondering who else has them, and what they think so far, since I'm new to the metal halide stuff. Also, all of you who have pendants, how bad is the light wash into the room? My wife is beginning to complain.
