Just wondering if anyone is using any of these reflectors. They look pretty nice, and the price is right.
Thanks......

the reflector itself is fine but the bracker that holds the socket is a bit flimsy and will lean when bulb is screwed in so you have to bend it a bit

The hellolights reflector is a good buy. I have two of them.

I had those reflectors on my last reef tank. They got the job done and the price was right. But I’m going with Spider reflectors this time around.

I have spider reflectors and they are worth every penny I paid. I could not believe how much better my halides looked.

Whats the difference? I have the hello lights version and my buddy has the Spider lights and they are identical. Why pay so much more? Just wondering what you thought, thanks!

I use them on my 80g and have used them on other projects for fiends. The bracket that comes with them is flimsy, but works ok with a little tweaking. I would used them again. Cant beat the price.

I looked at the site, they look cool. The add said they will produce 40% more light over conventional reflectors. So, if I used those reflectors what size and how many MH lamps would you suggest I use over a black back and sides tank, that is 56" long 30" deep and 25" high? Thanks Lee

I would say 3 - 250w or 2 - 400w. You easily get away with 2 - 250w if you wanted to reduce costs. I would recomend you use 3 or 4 VHO's with that if you went with two 250's. Just my thought.
