Endangered

Can someone shed a lil light on this subject....someone has told me that a LFS can sell an Endangered species if they did not get it from US waters...I always thought Endangered = Illegal to sell, own, trade...do the laws of the REEF not apply here ?

It depends if it's on our endangered species list?????? That would be my only guess.

exactly...but if its and endangered species by the USA, u cant sell, trade , or own any

They may be referring to species covered under CITES- hard corals, live rock.
