reef filler

[Tankless]

Hi I just got my reef filler today and was wondering if I have to use the bleed valve or can I run it with out it?

Well, the valve itself you use to help prime the system when you start it up. I've always run mine with the long tubing attached, but the only time I open the valve and let solution come out the tube is after I've removed the solution intake tube for kleening and am re-priming the pump. In between times, I imagine I could remove the tubing without any negative effect....but i's just as easy for me to leave it on....
